Maybe co-ordinate the color with your roof since these elements will stay the same the longest...

Tell me the style of your new home. If contemporary, dark gray (even a warm gray brown) is a good choice. If cottage-y, a cool gray / blue gray is a good choice. White would need to be dark warm whites / soft tan. Green is too opposite .. white is what everybody has to get at the low end so if you can get color, that is a good thing. Black could work if it is very contemporary.

Thank you for your help. I can't send photo as we are only at the beginning of the build so not much to see. It is a conversion of a poultry shed measuring 80x30 ish and is being designed for me as disabled friendly. It will be modern but I won't be in a position to keep changing things, so perhaps not ultra modern.!

If the cladding is real cedar I would want black or white windows.
