My husband and I bought our house as a foreclosure. We love it because of the potential it has... It's just not there yet. For starters, the front of the house (north facing) looks like a fortress. The existing siding is getting old (1984) and is stained really dark. All the landscaping is gone because it was all dead.

The back side of the house has lots of windows (has a nice view), but the front... Needs help. The internal layout makes it difficult. Windows could go on the walls to the left and right of the fireplace, but on the left is a hidden wood storage room, so the window would have to be high.

Just to the right of the front door is a window in a bathroom. Above the bathroom is the master closet. To the right of the master closet, is the master toilet room.

What can I do to add style/curb appeal to this house? It's on a 5-acre ranch, but has a contemporary vibe. Concrete tile roof. I can't seem to figure out a style - and the lack of windows (or accents in general) doesn't help. The siding is old so I have no problem changing the siding, the siding can also be refinished, adding Windows where I can, maybe add a covered porch?...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
