Pacific NW, practically on the other side of the world from VA.

I chopped up my aff. erythrostemma. It was in a 12 inch pot. Started a few new plants, sold all but one. Threw the old roots away. That being said, all of my imperialis (three different types...var. rauschii, pink, and yellow) are in 12 inch pots (they like room) and, aside from taking cuttings or emergency re-starting, you couldn't pay me enough to get rid of them.

Has it bloomed for you, Tawny? Too bad I'm not closer to you or I would take it off your hands. I have a couple of friends who could use a happy Hoya or ten ;).

Yes Denise, that's right ! I remember Doug from Vermont Hoyas showing off his refrigerator size Cummingiana. He said he was going to donate it to a local botanical garden. Thanks for jogging my memory. Thanks for that reminder.

Great ideas, Denise! I live in a very small, rural town, so I don't have any of those options, but I did list it on CL (no takers yet tho). I think I'll call the senior center and see if it is something they'd like to have. :)

My local library has plants, maybe yours might like one? Or the local Church along w/ its senior center (great idea Denise). Maybe the local hospital for its lobby?
