everlastin onions

am trying to find everlasting onions , they don't have seed, grown by separating the bunches, had some 30 years ago in texas . have been wanting to get some again, Have some walking onion plants willing to trade for the everlasting onion (Allium cepa perutile) All I have found is place in Uk that sells them. Help Grins!!!!

Is this the same as potato onion?

I just heard a talk by Ira Wallace from SESE and she was talking about onions that look like this

This is seed I bought last year. Yes, I know these are not usually propagated by seed. I had read an article about a guy who by chance got seed from his multiplier onions and this is the commercial source. I am still working on getting a crop from these, so I don't know what they are like. Caleb Warnock
