How cold hardy do you mean?

We are zone 8 as well.

I do not have any now, seldom do, but some succulents and many cacti are plenty hardy in our zones - winter wetness is the problem instead, here in Alabama. Let me suggest looking at the website for Mesa Garden, a commercial seller of cactus and succulent seeds - he lists minimum temperatures for most of his offering, and I use those as a guide.
