I have seen these multi variety grafts at the PSA sales in Houston. I think George is a proponent of them because it gives him multiple trees in one pot.

My plumeria have a 6 months. Can I graft my plumeria?

I would graft on a plumeria with an established root system Marcelo. 6 months is too young. Maybe 2 years.

Jackie, My pluméria is already fully rooted and with Ramos full of sheets. The greatest problem is not know even the color of its flowers.

What graft you do? The total for the tree give only one type of flower color, or only a branch to the tree give two types of different flowers?

Marcelo...Maybe wait to see what the blooms are before grafting on it? Then you can see what colors look good with it! Be sure to pick cuttings with the same growth habit. If you pick a compact cutting to graft on your tree, make sure any others you graft on after it are also compact. If you put a fast grower on there it will take over the tree.

I used the "v" and "slant" grafts. There are some videos on YouTube you can watch to see how they're done! On mine, wherever you see zip ties is a different cutting I grafted on. Some are the same color, others are different.

Jackie, My plumeria is precisely in the shape of a "V". Is well developed, but has only six months of planted. It is a mature and woody cuttings from. I expect the first médium for after doing the graft. Thank you.

There are some others on YouTube that can be helpful, you just have to pick through them! Dennis does a TON of grafting so I followed his methods.

I do recommend trying on a "practice tree" before trying to graft a cutting you really care about.

Someone told me they would cut the tips off their Celadine and graft them right back on for practice.

Thank you so much - I know it will be forever before I try grafting. I need to large plumeria in a nursery somewhere nearby - or go on a road trip with the truck to a nursery in a nearby state that has them. Our local nursery does not - and it is a great nursery with some tropicals - just not plumeria.
