Mine is mahogany -- both soffit and portico ceiling. It was a bit of a splurge, but with a house set uphill from the street, you see it.

Any idea on what kind of maintenance you would have with the wood soffit?

We are looking for a faux cedar soffit. What product did you use and where is it available? Any idea on pricing?
