Last night down here in south AL after a short period
Of milder weather. I live abt 90 miles from the gulf of
Mexico, and keep butterfly gardens, a large planted
Dragonfly pond,and also plant for the hummingbirds
As well as hang out feeders.
I have seen some of the usual early butterflies, one
Male Luna moth,and the early common dragonflies
That hold territories thru the summer are on the pond.
I have seen no common green darners( which do not
Hold territories) and I have seen no hummingbirds yet.
As soon as the weather warms back up I think I will go
Ahead and hang up my hummingbird feeders.
The birds should start coming in soon.
