What to do with this wall?

This counter is almost 12 feet long. What can I do with the wall above it? I would like at least some shelving for display. Can I use those black shelves with the hidden brackets? How many? What configuration? Anything else?

Mount ur TV first, and then add shelves as Bob mentioned *in the first pic.* . DO NOT use any bright colors for colouring the shelves. use neutral colors

I'd add some floating shelves on either side of the TV, but in your wood tone. I wouldn't add anything above the tv.

I can't seem to find floating shelves in anything but black or white. Any suggestions where I would find them?

What is the room used for and what is the orientation to other rooms? This would help in providing some ideas.

It a family room / office. Sort of open to the breakfast room

It is used mostly for tv watching, computer use.

This is part of what room? Other furniture? No shelves to display tiny photos. That isn't decorating and it looks busy.

Get white shelves and paint them.

What color would you paint the white shelves?

The stuff on the counter is just there because I haven't found any shelves

Paint them dark gray or an accent color. Turquoise, blue, red, yellow, orange. Do some tape on each side of TV where you want them to hang. Be sure to leave some space so you can put bigger items up. Not just small frames and knick knacks.

Here are a couple of clean minimalist entertainment wall. I would accent the wall with a darker color to set the wall and use apart. If you do not want to emphasis your TV then find an attractive painting it Morrow to decorate the wall.
