I was not expecting Zizia blooms this year - it bloomed last year, and it being a biennial I thought I would only get foliage this year. But instead, lots of flowerheads! I see quite a few Salvias and Verbenas also returned, so my butterfly garden has a good start - and I have about 150 seedlings of common milkweed and tropical milkweed!
