I'm trying to grow adenium from seed from my plant. I only had a two sided seed pod and managed to get the seeds before they dispersed in my greenhouse where a fan is usually running. It is the pink one you see at many stores. I see lots of exotic looking ones from India and seeds for sale. Most of these plants are grafted. I realize they probably do this to keep the color or shape of the unusual colors maybe like a cactus that is grafted so the colorful cactus(red, yellow orange ect.) will continue to be viable or Japanese maples that are grafted to insure the desirable characteristics can continue to grow. If I buy seeds of an unusual adenium will it fail after a while because it is not grafted? Would I be wasting my money buying those seeds instead of a grafted plant?
