Please help me with this fireplace I have disliked from the moment I saw it!
It has a well done faux painting with texture on top. Looks like it is trying to be old crinkled leather. The columns on the side are smooth.
I don't like the headstone granite but can live with it if the top half looks better. My only idea is to paint it but what color? What do I do with the texture? The room is pretty dark. There is a play area next to it . All the walls are white in this room. Adjacent rooms green. Thanks for your ideas!! Btw this is the living room.
