Heirloom roes is great from what I've heard. I haven't ordered from them in a while since there prices went up, but from what I've read on here there roses have actually gotten a little bigger as far as bands go, but when they included shipping in there price, it was to much for me. Heirlooms roses always grew well for me though. I have never ordered from David Austin directly, so someone else would have to answer you on that.

I would also like to recommend High Country, Longago roses, Burlington Roses, Roses Unlimited. Pam at Angel Gardens is great to deal with, and Rogue Valley is great for the rare roses, if you looking for those..they can't be beat for the harder to find roses, but shipping is high for them for me, and even though they fix them, they do have some ID issues sometimes. If there is something you are looking for and its hard to find and they carry it, order from them. There bands are really healthy.

If you are looking for grafted roses I don't order those to much anymore so I can't help you to much there. I ordered along time ago from J&P and received healthy grafted roses. They are said to have issues to, but I never had any. I've heard Hortico is great from on here but have no personnel experience.

As always it helps to know where you live as well. It's best to go ahead and add it to your name up top, so it's always there.

I have ordered from DA USA spring 2015 and 2016 and so far so good. I got one grafted rose last spring and UPS took 2 weeks to get it to me. It still grew well. This year I got 5 own root by USPS (3 days) and they are growing well after only 2 weeks in the ground. I heard on the internet their grafted to Dr. Huey roses probably have RMV, but my plant seems OK. I never got an answer from here whether their own root are afflicted with RMV, but my new roses are doing well. I realize I can't tell by sight on the RMV issue. Alana has great advice. First J&P went out of business three years ago. Somebody bought the name. They sell Weeks Roses.

Dr Huey is the standard rose to graft to! Most growers have taken care of RMV If you are seeing it on your plant it came from the grower. Take a bud from an infected rose, bud it and the virus goes to the new rose.

Yes, rifis. These are 5 own root DA Tyler Tx roses. They were as large as their grafted rose I got last year. It surprised me too.

I ordered from David Austin US and Burpees. D.A. roses from Burpees arrived dry to the bone. Couldn't revive them. Needless to say I will not order roses from Burpees. DavidAustinRoses company in US shipped very well. Roots were actually moist. I had no communication issues and got what I ordered. About 2ft tall since mid May.

Heirloom has nice roses. I have had good experiences with chamblee's gallons - best prices for multiples but not a huge selection, Rogue Valley' s bands (although prices almost doubled since last time I ordered from them) and roses unlimited gallons. RU is having a sale through the 15th where gallons are only $10.....
