Here is another first time bloomer. I have had this one for almost 2 years and now the blooms are coming. The sepals were completely flat when the flower first opened. Now it is about 10 days old and the sepals are starting to reflex a bit.

Coelogyne speciosa is a sequential bloomer. So I am expecting another flower once this one falls. You can see the next bud behind the current flower. Also there might be another spike arising from the new growth to the left. Like many Coelogyne, speciosa's flower from the middle of their new growth. The spikes shoot out prior to the leave unrolling.
