Odd Variegation

I pulled this stalk from my compacta. I know you can't judge a plant by one or two leaves, but this one is very suspicious to me; it's the only odd stalk in the whole plant. Do you guys think it looks like it's reverting to 'Lillian True'? Or is it just wishful thinking?

That's incredible. You did the right thing. Separate anything that's different and grow it out on it's own. That's how new caviars are formed. See if it continues to grow those leaves and most of all, send out pups the same.

Very interesting! I think Lillian True came originally from Laurentii, I'll try to find out for sure. But in any case, you never know what will happen with sansevierias. Keep us posted on how this one continues to grow, and especially what any offsets look like. Hopefully it won't go back to looking like Compacta.
