Lily bulbs sliced: salvageable?

last modified: 10 years ago

Doing some heavy digging in the garden, I disturbed unmarked
2 lilies that had not yet sprouted. One had the top sheared off, just the way
you would if you were slicing the top off a head of garlic before roasting
whole in the oven. About the top quarter to a third was cut off, cleanly.

The other was intact except for a hole where the old stem
was. At least I assume it was the old stem, unless a new stem popped off.

Guessing, these would be either Aubade or Legend. Old and
established, each over 2 1/2” in
diameter.
