Have you thought of a mirrored tile, something like Charleston Mirror from Artistic Tile? You could purchase this from www.kbcottage.com in Shreveport.

My husband says that he would like stainless steal tile but I felt it would be to much with all the appliances and a little on the cold side.

Thank you Terry M. I do like the mirror idea, had a couple of large mirrors on the counter for a week to see what it would look like, definitely brightens up the corner.

Thank you Stacy Koch with Carmel Decor, I have been thinking about green off and on for awhile, with the green that comes through the window I figured it would just carry it along. I was worried that it would clash with the wood tone in the cabinets.

I think the aqua / green colors would compliment the wood tones!
