Large Pussywillow, take down or keep?

I have a 12' tall Pussywillow bush that I was planning to take down this spring. I went out to look at it the other day while it was flowering, and it was literally buzzing with bees. None of my other shrubs were much in bloom except for the Star Magnolia, and none had any bees around them.

So now I am wondering if I should be thinking of keeping the Pussywillow due to it's importance as early season food for my valuable pollinators? ? It's too big to move easily, but this is what I will probably end up doing.

If you can stand to keep it, I hope you will. I would love to have cuttings from one, if it is known to be a favorite of pollinators. My property backs up to an area that acts as a drainage region for a local business area. So, it is lots of wild, swampy overgrowth. I planted a pussywillow two years ago, but now can't find it. It may have been eaten by deer or rabbits. It is hard to know. Good luck with your decision.

If you would like some cuttings, let me know how many , as I'm going to be starting to take it down and maybe try to move it in the next couple of weeks.

I haven't grown anything but coleus from cuttings, so I wouldn't know where to start. But, I'm sure I could figure it out. Do you know how they would best be shipped? It is probably easier for me to go to a local nursery and pick out a nicely rooted plant that I can take home and stick in the ground. I don't want to put you to any trouble. I hope you are happy with the results of your project.
