I remember a post showing socks put over buds. A towel over open bloom? What a bummer. But you can become our expert on what works.

We're not getting quite that cold here, although a frost is expected. Iris can handle a frost, but a freeze could get them. I like the idea of socks, I may use that one myself.

A sock is a good idea, but i'm afraid they might weigh them down and cause them to fall over. I tried putting a sheet over a rebloomer last year and that didn't work, but it was colder than 29 that time. I'm afraid that I'm just going to have to take my chances. Thanks for your help.
