Blooms from 4/9...

Here are a few blooms I saw this morning after the rain last night and early morn. I should have given some of the roses a little shake to get some of the water out. Thankfully, it is still raining!!

Astrid Grafin von Hardenberg

Annie Laurie Mc Dowell. This particular bush was planted in the yard at my previous home, uprooted, planted at my new home during late May, uprooted in September and moved to a new location in my yard. It is tough rose and bouncing back. Yesterday I saw little worms being pursed by little black crawling things, and all were becoming a feast for the birds. Nature in action. I accept that mu roses will never be perfect, but me, my hose and mother nature do our best.

Carding Mill is really growing on me. I was not so sure about how it would blend in with other roses in my garden. It is a keeper.

Clementina Carbonieri. This rose blooms are very variable.

A very wet Ebb Tide

Koko Loco. I wanted to take a picture of one of the gorgeous blooms this rose can have, but it was to wet out to lay on the ground.

Love Song peeking from behind the leaves.
