Little Devil

I bought this little one a few years ago and it sulked for a couple of years after the first flowering. To my delight, it sent up a scape a few weeks ago, so I decided to pollinate it.

Left to right with papilio, Evergreen and Lima now let's see if I was successful at playing bee.

Ay Fred, I'm really sorry for you! This seems to happen in different parts of the world now. At least we know now who to blame for it (see Rosinas alien post). Maybe you just didn't fill up the forms properly...

Actually....I just finished watering my plants and knocked it over and broke the stem in pieces. After quite a few expletives...I cleaned it up and just walked away. Maybe next year :-(((((

Awww Fred that makes me sad. That kind of stuff happens to me to. It's a pretty little flower but I guess a cross wasn't meant to be this time.

So sorry to hear that Fred. I must have been in sympathy mode with you. I did the same thing with my possibly developing seed pods on Tosca. I too, had a few choice words!
