Does it have a grate on the bottom to keep the firewood off the bottom?

    Mesh top and cutout shapes in the sides allow plenty of light and heat to reach you, yet keep sparks and embers safely contained. Burns up to 33 lbs. of wood. Safe to use Charcoal. I do believe this means the bottom is solid.

    I think you might need to read their question thoroughly. They were asking if there is a grate that keeps the wood off of the solid bottom you mention, not if the bottom is a grate.
