When did you plant it?

It has a nice shrub shape. Do you prune very hard? Yes, I have one and am trying to learn how big it will get and how to keep it in check:)

Lady of Shalott is 4 yrs old this spring. By summers end, it is HUGE. I don't prune real hard in the spring. Usually about mid thigh to waist high. I leave as many canes on the bush as possible.

I love bush shots also! Blooms are beautiful, but it really helps me to see shape and size!! ( I know others hate bush shots! lol) I am in SE GA, so watching yours with interest!....as soon as I win the lottery, gonna do some shopping! (what my hubby tells me...what a guy...the nerve to tell me that I had to pay bills and feed the children before my gardening habit! lol

I have my LoS espaliered between a couple of t-posts on a piece of 12 ft wide wire fencing. She has gotten huge this year. I have been pulling her canes down and fastening them horizontally. Now she has buds on a bunch of laterals. She just opened her first one this morning. I will get a pic when she gets more opened. I got her bare root last spring.
