I'm jealous of your warm temps! I love those Red blooms!

My original DR is in bloom. I pruned her in March, and she has rewarded me with lots of growth and blossoms.

It has been warm and sunny here. Almost no rain unfortunately. I am trying Miracle Grow slow release this spring. Alright, it was on sale, BOGO. But everyone seems to like it so far.

We've had so much rain here! Our summers are usually hot and fairly dry though, so we need it.

Lovely trees and flowers, I especially like the deep pink one. We too are having horrid weather here in the UK! Temps hardly getting above 5c during the day, rain, hail, snow and wind, it's diabolical :(( you are fortunate with your climate, I too admit to being jealous!

Yes, I love living in FL! I lived in Texas as a child then moved to panhandle of FL. I hated the 30 loooong years I spent in NY. Rain, cold, snow, cold..... I certainly couldn't grow DR years under there.

Former NY here and I hated every minute of the 40 winters there too. I'm never leaving the sun. Wow you have so may trees! All so lovely!!!

I'm in Broward County, about 15 miles west of Ft. Lauderdale. I keep them by the pool too. They get the most sun there. My husband thinks I'm nuts when I run out there in the rain frantically pulling them under cover. I do look a little cuckoo. Where are you?

lol Martin I hear you. Year-round plants--I can only blow raspberries. Thank the gods for microclimates and my deck for producing it.

Spring in the Northeast is more confusing than my past six springs so far. It seems to be just a suggestion, not really a statement of fact. More like "It really should be spring now" rather than "Oh it's spring!"

I am in Palm Harbor, just north of Clearwater, on the Gulf Coast. Martin, it was not the heat, which on Long Island is usually is not bad, its the cold and wet. Though LI is not as cold as Upstate. And as Pagan says, winter is no respecter of Spring. I just love being back down south. I will post a photo of the ordinary Pothos growing up my oak tree. It will blow your mind!

This is my pride and joy. My gold fish pond. My 19 cent gold fish are about 8 inches long now. My water lilies bloomed almost all winter this year. Awaiting for them to bloom again.

I know I am showing off. Please forgive me. I just love subtropical Florida.

I lived most of my life in 7b or 8a, so I know how great it is to be in a warm climate. I will never go back willingly.

I am just the opposite. I have lived in TX and visited the south east but would not like to live there. Our vacation are always to places with vegetation.

Though I liked Arches NP during the winter It is to barren for me. So what do I grow cactus.

California has gotten more humid and I can't grow things for the wild animals but I love that you all can grow stuff so well.

Several of last year's seedlings have flower buds! I am thrilled. Can't wait to see what they will look like. I didn't do a good job of marking them, so it will be a surprise. I have ordered more markers so I can do better.

Newest seedlings. These are a batch of mixed arabicum seeds. Planted last week. I'm getting better than 50% germination. Which makes me happy. They are out in the Florida sun. And seem to like it.

Just seeing your photo's of your garden Cynthia. So breathtaking. What pleasure you must get just sitting there looking upon your garden and "fish pond".

I used to love sitting at the side of ours in the morning with a nice cup of coffee. The Koi where so great to watch swim around.

That variegated Pathos is so beautiful. What growth on it too.

Your Adeniums are looking marvelous. Cannot go without mentioning them, but I got side tracked with all the other glory.

I like your little fatties. Isn't it strange how much difference in the two from Dec. and Oct? I am going to try seeds again. I think I will try seeds and try not to kill them. It is finally above 50 at night. I so badly want to look at my new roots from the bare rooted ones I got. I will just watch the slow leaf out instead.

Love the fish. I have inside fish but here outside they would be snacks.
