Help with potted fig! First of all, I'm only the "tender" of the tree.....sometimes.
What I noticed while in my care, was that new leaves were coming out and immediately turning brown and dying. Not damp, but nonetheless the soil was too wet. So, I re-potted in correct soil and immediately the green part of "stalk" curled over. Now, I've re-potted and watched the watering, but what I notice is that the trunk / stalk always seems to curve one way or the other, which I've never seen in a tree, but then, mine are in the ground!!
Could the bend of the stalk be following the line of the mother root?
