I have never used a bloom boosting fertilizer. Good old MiracleGro tomato plant food, and mine bloom just fine.

You can't rush a peduncle to mature any faster. Same with buds. They mature when it is time, much like any plant or animal.

As long as you provide proper care, your plant will thrive and bloom.

Neat plant. I had to look it up - it looks like a cross between multiflora and imperialis, but I see the flowers look like multiflora. I can see why you're getting iMpatient! (Tee-hee... just ribbing you CB!)

It's only a matter of time once you get the peduncles. Savor the buildup!

For those of you who have ordered this from Thailand, what shape was it in on arrival? I am probably going to be doing the same thing, wondering how high my odds of success are with this species.

Two days ago I received a very dehydrated two leaf cutting of Lockii from Poland (I live in the UK). Soaked it for 12 hours in a Superthrive solution and pinned it to sphagnum moss in a propagator under fluorescent lights. The cutting has a very short stem and the two leaves still look pale and paper thin. Maybe I should have soaked it longer. Any suggestions?
