Again: a beauty!!

Lost my interest in cacti a bit over the years and gave them mostly away; but rediscovering bit by bit.This mam I never had, but many others - in those days a permanent fight against mealies.

For me however not easy to find. Gardencenters overhere hardly sell them anymore

Cactus were my first garden love, way before I knew there were so many beautiful hybrids and kinds.....and eBay. Something about their prickly design and spectacular flowers does it for me.
Have to say, you inspired me to try growing a few echevaria lauiis upon seeing your beauties. :] Still tiny things, but, growing....

I've had that fight with mealies. All over my echinopsis and succulents, but, never hit my mamm. I had to go medieval on them and so far so good.

Really adore cactus every time I go shopping. I like them way more than African violets .. but that's more popular in our cold zone, where there's very little sun indoor.
