When you separate and pot up the babies, do you also place them partially above the soil level as the mom bulb? They've been growing completely under the soil for a couple years so I wasn't sure if when they graduate to homes of their own, they also graduate to being partially exposed from the soil (which would be a change to how they've been growing). Or keep about the same as when they were still attached to mom? I don't have window ledge space for larger pots so I can't repot both mom and kids together into bigger home. They're outgrowing the current pots so kids will need to move out soon. Just want to make sure I repot them properly. Thanks.
