Can I mix Passiflora and clematis?

I have a clematis on a trellis. Coming up from under a bush nearby I discovered a vine that I think is a passionflower. It comes up every spring but never does anything before someone pulls it up as a weed. I'd like to move it to share the trellis with my clematis just to see if it IS a passion flower. I'm in west central GA. Should MayPop be blooming already? Do they just bloom in May? Can I mix the 2 vines? Will one be much more aggressive than the other? I'd love any info. Thanks!

Usually passiflora are more aggressive. They have these little tendrils they use to grab onto things. They like to strangulate their competitors lol.

Kill that darn maypop. Get a different species that does not send up root suckers.

I think that would turn out good. They could mesh well together. I have 4 different types of passion flowers and I love it.
