Cute little plant holder

I just picked this up today. I Didn't feel like using it as another candle holder. Now, it holds my Hoya.

Where did you find it, Monica? I love going to the thrift stores and finding a new bird cage for my plants :). That's a sturdy looking one, at that!

Thanks. It is very sturdy and was only $5.99 at Tuesday Morning.

I don't think there are any Tuesday Morning stores around here, but I will have to check.

I think there is a TJ Maxx in the town where I go to Lowe's and Home Depot. They sound very reasonably priced, too :).

I love the little bird cages as well. Only down side is when the plant outgrows it, it can be a real nightmare getting it out. But I do love the look. I like anything that displays them a little prettier (or just more fun)... I like to buy soup bowls, the kind with a handle, and drill a hole in the bottom. I have several of those. There's (what I call) a "junk" catalog I get that has three adorable cache pots - since I'm at work, I just "stole" a photo from their online store to show one of them...

There are 3 - an elephant and a zebra as well, and I've gotten all 3. They hold about a 4" pot and you can get them from the Lakeside Collection.

That's great! I picked up some plain stainless 3 shelf racks at BJ's for $16. not nearly as nice as yours, but it works for now,. This is my set up so far on my screened porch. It's a mess right now and I need to organize a bit better as I have many new Hoyas coming :-) and 5 rooms with quarantined Hoyas.

wanna_run_faster - you're so lucky to have an IKEA close to you. I live in Raleigh and there is an IKEA in Charlotte (3 hour drive). When I lived in France we went every couple weeks. I never thought I would miss it but I actually do.

Something like your rack may work in my future greenhouse. Maybe I can check their website.

Monica, I really like your set up especially the combination of the shelves with the hanging so it's a pretty vinnette from inside but you can also enjoy the view beyond.

IKEA also has these racks that come in white or black. They showed them with little galvinized steel pots which didn't have holes. it would be perfect for holding 4" plastic pots and not worrying about drips onto the floors inside the house. Each segment can be rotated or aligned however you want. I may have to go back and get it but then I would need more Hoyas to fill it up

That plant stand is really awesome. Again, too bad we don't have an IKEA close to us. :-(

Dang, Monica. You've got quite the collection going these days! :) Both your setups look really cool.

Thanks Tawny. You were a huge part of it :-) also aurorawa, Denise, eBay and of course Gardinos. My husband is going to s_ _t his pants when he sees my PayPal account!

I'm officially addicted! We need a Hoyas Anonomous. I think my husband and son are secretly planning an intervention. Hah!!
