Is this Eve?

My WM had a brand new shippment of Sans. They have the S. Futura Simplex and this one. I already have about 5 or 6 Futura. I picked up 2 of these. $5 each.

Yes it is. Very nice! My WM never has any good plants

Great! Thx. I was told the selections would improve everywhere the closer we get to Mother's Day. I've been going to WM at least 4 days a week for about 2 months. Today it finally paid off.

That's a real beauty - I've never seen one in Los Angeles (yet), but I'm new to this too. Congrats Katrina.

They are also at the WM in the high desert of CA. But they're 6! An older woman was admiring them when she saw me take a look she bought two that had several offsets. I love converts.

Me too. My coworker now looks for them as much as I do. They grow on you. I'm going to some not so local nurseries tomorrow to Sans shop about 60 miles away. I'm gonna make a day of it and enjoy the weather. I'll be looking for Silver Queen, Silver Laurentii, and Black Gold. Maybe another Golden Hahnii too. And Futura Superba, and... ;-)

I can't wait to see what you find during your sans shopping trip. Good luck!

Where we live there aren't any local nurseries. I have to rely on WM, HD, or L. I have been lucky enough to have encountered several wonderful donors here on GW. I have ordered online but have had a few disappointments. I'm also looking for a silver queen. Have fun and good luck. Share pics of your finds.

GW people are enablers. That's how I started growing Hoyas, Epiphyllum, and Sans. A wonderful lady named Cena (old time GW'er) started me on both. I have had the pleasure of meeting her in person a couple of times.

I bought 3, but none of the silvers I love so dearly. I'll just keep looking for those.

Laurentii - this is my 3rd. It's pretty beat up but has 3 new pups growing so I went for it.

Futura Superba? It was on my list. It is completely filling its 8in pot.

And Cylindrica? I wasn't looking for this but saw it and fell in love with its tiny pup.

One of the nurseries I went to said they could order what I'm looking for. If I cant find Silver Laurentii and Silver Queen in the next month or so, I'll look into ordering them. Here's the full pic of Cylindrica that didn't post above.

Nice cylindrica! Already a pup - wow.

I'm working up to the Silver Laurentii, I see them but then always see something else I want more - they'll be there (I tell myself), and that's what I said about the Mein Leiblings, and then there was only one left. I'm not the only one who likes Sans around here! Same with the Silver Queens - he's got several, and I have to pace myself ($$$), so I wait but then the Sans nursery man delivers some fans or something and the trifasciatas are pushed to the backburner.

Besides those 2 Silvers, the only other one I'm really gunning for is the Black Gold. Their leaves speak to me. Something about the contrast of that dark green and bright yellow. There's a small part of me that's glad we only have the easy to find sans in my immediate area. If the ones I really love were so readily available, I'd have a problem...a bigger problem.
