Ha, you may be right but since I have had it, so far it has grown little. I certainly don't care at all if it smothers out the other plants. I'll also trim and make lots of cuttings to root.

Episcias need fertilizer to grow well, they are greedy feeders. You want them to speed up - make sure that you give them their weekly weakly.

They are getting weakly fed (and wicked) just like my streptocarpus, but not under as bright light. So far they seem to be very happy. Pink Smoke is my slowest grower while my other episcias grow faster. It is also staying a lot smaller than the others.

Yes, they don't really like to get below 60 degrees, where as my streptocarpus thrive around that range.

Here's an updated June photo of some of my episcia enjoying life on my back deck beneath a white oak - it's been 90 to 100 degrees almost every day the past month.
