The mosquito will survive at any cost. Went to clean my in pond Beckett filter and found a lot of larvae inside. They had escaped the fish. I put a mosquito killing dunk inside the filter box and will start to keep one dunk inside when there is a risk for mosquitoes.. We have been told to watch plants in pots out of the water. Mosquitoes like to lay in those kinds of plants again areas away from the fish. I have artificial water lilies that float on top, and i bet that is another area I am going to have to watch.
