Oh, I think that's some microbe attack, forgot which - someone will know. A few of mine had that too - I took a Q-tip dipped in Listerine (alcohol may do as well) and apply it to the healthy tissue around then into the brown spot, both sides. I did this a few days in a row. The spot stops progressing, dries out/scars. Keep the plant dry, maybe place it where there's air movement - why there are fans in greenhouses. Near a door that opens frequently, an open window, a fan.... I learned this (Listerine or alcohol) from a blight that attacked roses some years ago, also in pruning you have to sterilize the secateurs between cuts.

Thanks Next. I repotted this morning, separate from the healthy plant. I did clean the area with alcohol, so as u suggested, I'll do that the next few mornings. It's now in an outdoor room with no door, my utility room. I also sprinkled some cinnamon on it. Seems like I read that somewhere around here. It has 2 pups coming up so I need it to live!
