PASSIFLORA CAERULEA - I've ordered seeds

Hello all!

I've been reading the garden forums non-stop for a few weeks and I'm in need of some advice on PASSIFLORA CAERULEA planting.

So I am going to attempt to start some seeds. Hopefully there will be success :)

I'm wondering if it would be possible to start the seeds in a plastic nursery container (a large one) and if I get seedlings to then bury the pot in the ground to keep the vine from sending out runners all over. Trying to think of a way to contain the vine as I read this one is a spreader.


What do y'all think?

    You can keep it in check by looking for the runners and pulling them up. Mine escaped from a pot. Not much dampens it's enthusiasm.
