Seeding sweet alysum in a mulched area

10 years ago

I have a lot of space between my sedum plants, and I was thinking of filling the space with sweet alyssum. There's currently about an inch or two of black bark mulch covering that space.


Can I just sprinkle the seeds over the mulch? Or do I need to scrape it away, sow the seeds, and then recover? I'm trying to keep this very simple.
