Looks kind of alien!

Did they mention the size of the pink thing. I was trying to guess the size in relation to the blossom at left, but even the blossom size could vary depending on the size of the plant.

Maybe potato aphids, although to me they look too big to be potato aphids. However, as aphids go, potato aphids can get kinda big, and potato aphids are pink.

I kinda think they likely are the larval form or a younger instar of some pest we are used to seeing only in its adult stage. I'm still searching my rickety old brain to figure this one out. Something about those pink things does look familiar.

That sure looks closer than anything I've found! The anatomy appears right, the slight color difference is likely just the difference in cameras.
