Beautiful blooms.. I too got excited when my T. ionantha bloomed last January. It's my first plant ever to bloom and now it's growing 4 pups.. :)

Looks like you are doing everything right, and soon -- well, "soon" in Tilly time -- you should have pups/offsets and they'll bloom, too.

Edit later (May 2) to add that I didn't see the flower on the second plant until now (to my eyes it blended in -- now it has popped out, easy or me to see). It is astounding! Good work!

Cactusmama - I grow bromeliads but not Tillandsias, however that doesn't stop me from admiring them and I find such a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colours really amazing. I especially find the one in your second picture very interesting with its huge flower for the size of the plant. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
