I want to thank Ken and Paula for having us all.

We know how hard you two work to get it ready!

It was our second year and it was so much fun.

got lots of plants I didn't intent to!! LOL

Nice meeting new folks and seeing regular ones!!!

Thanks all of you for sharing your plants and knowledge!!

See you all and more next year.

It did seem like a big family reunion Dawn~~~~!

Yes, many thanks to Ken and Paula! I know that getting ready to host a big event is a lot of work, and yet they pull it off every year and make it look effortless.

It truly was so nice to see everyone, whether we've been seeing each other at the Plant Swaps/Spring Flings for 10 or 12 years or if this was anyone's first (and I bet not the last!) year to attend. It always is so good to have faces to put with names (both screen names and real names). I love watching all of us grow up/grow older every year together. We aren't just growing in age and wisdom, but the ties that bind us together grow stronger and stronger as we watch everyone's children and grandkids grow up too. It is just really amazing. And, when one member is hurting, we hurt for them. Bruce, If you see this, you're in our thoughts and prayers! We missed seeing you and Janet today but know you are busy with the many tasks of storm recovery.

Sorie, It worked! Our goal of making everyone carry home plants they didn't intend to acquire clearly worked. I even brought home more plants than I intended to bring home, and that's rare....because my plantable ground is mostly planted.

The weather today was just heavenly, and the food, company and plants were even better. The animal guests were adorable and I couldn't help noticing how much the kids loved the pig.

I still have a smile on my face even after the drive back home, where impatient dogs, cats and chickens were eagerly awaiting some attention after a quiet day around the home place. Tomorrow I'll still be smiling as I dig holes and plant my new plants.

Thanks one and all for making this the best Spring Fling ever. It was so exciting to have SeedMama make a surprise appearance after being MIA for a couple of years. Family is always family, whether they are present at the gathering with us or not.

Thanks to a great host and hostess again. Don't know how you do it or even why you do it, but you sure make it fun for all of us. It was perfect weather also. Great fun to have so many of our garden family together.

Bruce we missed you.

Thank you to our awesome host family. The time and love you put into making sure everyone has what they need and want is so sweet. Little man and I had the BEST time. Even tho when I asked him when we first left if he had fun he said no...I am too tired. And 3 seconds later he was sound asleep. As soon as we got home safe and sound to his daddy he had the best time and told him all the fun and food and boys and girl and.....he will probably talk in his sleep about how much fun he had.

Thank you everyone for my awesome new plants. It really boosted my heart to see so much sharing and concern for Bruce and his family. And thoughts of people who didn't make it. I can not wait to dig holes tomorrow. My friendship garden is easily expandable so I will stretch the borders and take pictures when done. Thank you all

Barbara and I had a great time. Our thanks for all the work Paula and Ken, as well as helpers, put into hosting. Weather couldn't have been better. We were amazed at the development along both Franklin and Indian Hill Road, particularly after spending 7 years at OU and never seeing that area. Beautiful.

My apologies and sincere regret we couldn't attend this year. Hubs was not feeling well yesterday. Glad you all had a great time and hope we can make it next year!

I don't know if anyone else took many photos this year. We were too busy chatting, selecting plants, eating, watching the kids, the dogs and the pig play, etc. It was an awesome Spring Fling. We had too many plants (as always) but that was one of the best things about it----there was no shortage of enticing plants for everyone to load up in their cars, trucks and SUVs. It was just so wonderful to see everyone, especially the folks who hadn't been to the last few Spring Flings for various reasons. The gathering of the gardening clan is one of the highlights of spring every year for me.

I've seen several mentions of "the pig"---sure would like to see pix of it. lol!

Hopefully somebody took one. It was a potbelly pig on a leash and it was very well behaved for a pig.

The pig juxtaposed with the tiny, teacup dog was really a sight to behold! Thanks to our hosts! Thanks to everyone for being so welcoming to a newbie! Thanks for the plants! :)
