Why would you post a photo of such a nice bathroom but refuse to answer any Houzz questions about it?

    After being in Europe and experiencing the half glass idea I found it totally ridiculous given the amount of water splash on the floor. Am I missing something? Do people have to stay within 5 inches of the showerhead wall to keep the oversplash in the tub...what is the reason for the half glass?

    it is usually so, that such solution of a hlas installed on a tube is just a suplementary one to a full-size shower located in e.g. another bathroom. It is a compromise in favor of looks rather than usability. Another reason is, that a two-element glass is way more mechanically unstabile and expensive (therefore usually seen as a preferred solution in budget hotels ;-)... There is no other special 'philosophy' behind such solution up to my kowledge. Greetings from Germany,
