We live in a bungalow with an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen counters and back splash are tiled-we hate them and are looking into replacing them along with a new sink, appliances etc. Our island has 3 levels and we are wondering if we should cut down the top level , leave it as is or should we replace the whole island with a plain rectangular 1 level like the modern kitchens today?? We would love to get your ideas and advice!! Thank You!!
