Countertop

This looks like a concrete countertop.....?
I am using laminate material and really want / need a concrete countertop look as close as I can achieve. I have found Wilsonart Salentina Argenta. Any other suggestions?

Wilsonart Pearl Soapstone offers a subtle concrete look, paired with our Custom Crescent Edge or a Pencil Line Edge, this design provides that industrial look of concrete with the ease and durability of laminate.

Wilsonart Salentina Argento and Pearl Soapstone are very similar. I plan on going with a pencil line edge or crescent edge. Which one will look most like true concrete? I am using natural hickory cabinets.
The Pearl Soapstone has a bluish grey hue and the Salentina Argento has a brownish grey hue.

I ordered the largest samples possible of each from Wiksonart website to compare them to the cabinets in person.

I received my Wilsonart Pearl Soapstone sample. I LOVE it for my concrete counter look. I am leaning towards the pincer line edge. I am so excited to finally have decided. I am gonna love the look.

With a concrete look countertop I really need a simple clean line backsplash
    I found a subway tile I love!
    It's made by storka 4 X 16 matte.
I am considering two different colors.
One is Snow White and the other is called Silk Linen - a slightly off white ( but not cream ). The appliances are white. Which color? The bottom cabinets are natural hickory wood and uppers will be wood shelves

Wilsonart actually has a design that is called Detroit Concrete (Y0461). Based on the images you provided it looks like it would be closer than the other two laminate options. I am providing a link to the Wilsonart website that will take you directly to the product availability page, it is as follows:

I would recommend using the Wilsonart visualizer, which is a tool that will allow you to see the design in different types of applications. The link is as follows:

I put in an order for a sample of Detroit Concrete, along with two other colors, and the other two arrived but not the Detroit Concrete. I called and was told it is on back order and they couldn't tell me when I'd receive it. They then told me if I chose it for my countertops that ordering it would take 4-6 weeks. Very disappointed!

I will order the Detroit Concrete sample. I have the time to wait. Will be starting new build in 11 months. I am thrilled with my choices.

I have firmly decided on stock hickory cabinets ( from Home Depot or Lowe's )

i have tile flooring from South Cypress Floorng called "Morning" and also oversized pure white subway tile from Storka. And am going all the way to the ceiling with the tile. I plan on using open shelving for uppers and a ceiling exhaust fan over my oven.

Delta makes a reasonably priced fixture set collection called Triesmic that I am using throughout. I love Wilsonart and will be using it in my kitchen and both baths counters

I am going for a concrete look in the kitchen. Thanks for the tip on Detroit concrete sample I will look it up.

I am so excited about getting started on our lake cabin !
