LOL!! Blue Fusion is just another name applied to the old standard Johnson's Blue by a few less than ethical nurseries :-)) Yes, it can rebloom when cut back after the initial bloom cycle.

But there are a lot of hardy geraniums that have a very long bloom period, virtually all summer. Rozanne, Brookside, Lawrence Flatman or any of the cineriums, G. endressii, Nimbus, Blue Sunrise, and Anne Folkard will all bloom pretty much nonstop from late spring through summer and into early fall. And those are just ones off the top of my head - probably lots more.

Thanks for your comment. I had no idea that this Blue Fusion was simply a "rename". I have written down the names of the ones you noted and will take it to the nursery with me.

Yep, if you do a search under that cultivar name, the only retailer (aside from Amazon and cheapo Amazon wannabes) is Michigan Bulb and they are notorious for making up their own names for common, everyday plants. I guess if you have a reputation like MB's, you will try anything to bring in the customers and hoodwinking folks into thinking they are buying something new and exotic by illegally and unethically renaming plants is just one of their dubious marketing schemes.

In fact, if you look at this geranium on their website, it clearly says after botanical name: Geranium 'Johnson's Blue'.

Your comments are interesting because it was Michigan Bulb that advertised these. H-m-m-m-m, I will need to be very aware going forward. Thanks for the":heads up".
