My wife went thru the same thing. Now she's not the greenest of thumbs, but it was trying for her. The second year she got 2-3, grew them in pots together, even tried to pollinate them with a Q-tip or something. Never got any fruit.

Guess that's a bummer outlook, but you sure do need more than one, from my memory.

That happened to me last year! Only one of my tomatillos did NOT drown. It actually grew nicely and bloomed but no fruit. Someone here mentioned that you need at least two. Three are planted in the garden now. I actually have one plant that is still under the grow lights. It really needs to go outdoors, but it doesn't look perfect. If you were closer, I would give it to you--see if you could help it along.

I have dozens of volunteer Toma Verdes the storm didn't wipe out. I'm in the Shawnee area if that would work out?

I finally had a chance to look and I have a package of seeds from 2011 that says it has 30 seeds in it. That is a little old but will probably still germinate. Do you want to try it. If so, I will bring it to you. PM your address to me again and I'll run it by. Carol
