Hi I'm new to the adenium forum. I've read most of the posts here to get more familiar with things and to educate myself. Lots of valuable info here. Loved reading it.
I noticed that a lot of you import from Rinoa, so I e-mailed her asking for a plant catalogue. Here's where I feel lost and confused about what to do next and need some guidance.
I'd like to order 3 to 4 plants only. I assumed all I had to do was to place my order and the plants would arrive at my door step, but that doesn't seem to be the case. This quote on her website has me scratching my head.
"Before purchase, please contact your local region Customs and inquiring what kind inspection is required for import Adenium obesum seeds or plants. And please confirm if there’s any additional declaration must be listed on the Quarantine Certificate. After received your request, we will contact our Bureau of Plant Health Inspection to check if they can issue the certificate following your requests. Otherwise the Quarantine Certificate will list omitted."
So how do I proceed? Do I need a permit? Or any other action? Please advise.
