My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Molineux - a blooming machine!

One of my most prolific bloomers this spring is Molineux.

    Love those pics--what beauties.

    My Molineux bloomed like crazy one year also and since then (the past couple years) has just limped along--blooming but not thriving. Perhaps a couple brutal winters had something to do with that problem. Had a mild winter this past year so I'm hoping Molineux kicks back in gear and starts churning out those beautiful blooms again.

    But your pics are some of the best I've ever seen of Molineux. Give 'em a high-five for me!

      Pretty rose... does the flower fade in the sun? or does it hold its color. Thanks for sharing your roses :)

      Hello Haku - my experience is that Molineux does not fade in the sun. It starts out as strong yellow, then becomes yellow/orange. It eventually fades to a pale yellow/white as part of the aging process. Hope that helps!

      Wow!!! It's like being surrounded by millions of butterflies!! Amazing!!! I love the color!! I don't think there's any fragrance from Molineux - am I right??

      Hi Carol - Molineux has a reliably light myrrh fragrance in my experience. It's not a rose for someone who wants strong fragrance but it has a lot of other great qualities. I won't buy a rose with zero fragrance. I will comprise and buy one with light fragrance if the rose has other qualities I really admire.

      So sort of like Queen of Sweden? I have that rose. I love the fragrance even though it is light.

      I don't grow Queen of Sweden but I've scent-tested it before. I think on a scale of 1-5, if 5 is Abe Darby or Jude the Obscure, then I would rate Queen of Sweden as a 1 and Molineux as a reliable 2 and sometimes 2+/3 depending on weather. Molineux's myrrh scent is "sharp" compared with fruity floral scents so it registers with my nose as strong. Hope that helps!
