Does this mean my office environment is fungus friendly? This is the newest plant and the only plant that has it.

I've had that happen on my soil and I would guess I was keeping it too moist at some point. Fungus spores can be anywhere so having them land in soil is no surprise.

Makes sense. It's warm in here on the weekends. Probably close to 80 because the AC gets turned off on Fridays. Heat and moisture are no good. I just knew 10million spiders were about to hatch in my plant. First time I've ever seen something like that. My plant love just started a couple months ago.

Its a fungus. I get it in my Chamaedorea metallica palm. It is also in one of my tarantula tanks

I found 30 or more newly hatched tiny, green grasshoppers all over a couple of the outdoor Sans - doubt they had the strength to bite into a Sans but I shooed them off anyway. Spiders love my Sans, I've got webs all over.

I don't like bugs in general, but I HATE those with more than 6 legs. Creeepy!!!

I love spiders, they eat flies! Especially the jumping spiders with green eyes. I also enjoy coming across the praying mantises (sp?) in my garden. Oriental roaches freak me out sometimes if they surprise me, they're big and they fly.

Once I saw a lizard dart out of nowhere and snatch a grasshopper like a little dinosaur, made me wish for more lizards as grasshoppers can do some damage biting holes in rosebuds, etc.

Tarantula tanks? Hm. Black tarantulas are native here in California, I've only seen them while hiking in the mountains a couple of times though. Cool.

I have a trap door spider that nested in the cup of my black robusta. I picked it up in an attempt to divide it and he ran to the edge and scared the crap out of me. Lol.

Thankfully, I have more lizards than anything so they keep the bug population down. They're almost tame they see me so much. The cutest little rain frog lives in my jaboa. Between the lizards and frogs, spiders and small bugs don't stand much of a chance on the plants.

I love those little frogs, I just bought a bronze pendant with a little frog on it - coqui as they're called in Puerto Rico - little bitty things (with loud voices).

Fungus hates sulfur. Buy some sulfur dust for acid loving plants and add to the soil. It should stop the fungus from spreading and kill it.
