We live in Houston area. Both iris and agapanthas have bloomed profusly in years past. This year, lots of green and a few blooms on both. Iris were thined last fall, mulched In spring I added pine straw on top. (roots were close to surface). Agapanthas thinned 2 years ago. Both fed bone meal in the fall, Osmocote 14-14-14 in the spring. In desperation I added super bloom to the agapanthas in early May. One difference is we had 14" if rain in late April, but the agapanthus were not flooded . The iris were flooded for a couple days. No yellow leaves on either. What's my problem? I miss my blooms terribly!
