Yesterday I picked up a beautiful, colorful hanging pansy basket at the nursery. Without much thinking on my part, I left the basket on the front porch while I returned to running errands. The poor basket underwent a 90 degree direct sun afternoon and by the looks of it this morning, it definitely went through some stress.

The plant seems to have drastically spilled over one side of the basket (but not wilted per se). The flowers have faded and I spent the morning pinching off dozens of fried blooms. I gave it a healthy dose of water in the A.M. and it is currently receiving partial sun/shade.

I would love any suggestions and recommendations on bringing the pansies back to health!
