What did you use for the frame that makes the peak?

We are building a playhouse, and we are at the stage where we need to make the peaks on the outside. Any guidance that you can offer? BH

Thank you for your question!

The brown gable peak that you see is the same wall. We just painted it in a different color. The darker part of the gable is just 2x4's painted with dark paint. And a cedar 1x3 is placed on top.
